I am so excited to offer you an exclusive peek at A Novel Romance, the annual bridal fashion show held here in Portland and hosted by my favorite bridal shop, The English Dept. It's refreshing as bridal shows go and just a treat to attend. Lisa Warninger captured it beautifully.
The girls wore headpieces by the extraordinary Twigs & Honey that felt very modern Jane Austen.
Gowns from Melissa Sweet, Simple Silhouettes, Thread, Vera Wang, Jenny Yoo and of course Elizabeth Dye were showcased.
And, a peek at the designer herself wearing one of her own creations.
Dresses: The English Dept.
Photos: Lisa Warninger
Location: The Cleaners at The Ace
Headpieces: Twigs & Honey
Flowers: Ink & Peat
Love these - they're so light, airy and feminine.

If this is the sneak peek, I can hardly wait for the full story! I'm going to buy some lovely bon bons to eat for the occasion (because something about these pics just DEMANDS bon bons!)

Absolutely gorgeous photos, and such beautiful simple dresses. I also love the blossoming branches in the background. I would have loved to have those at my wedding if I had gotten married in spring!
