I love moose! This absolutely made my day. The ones here are very shy... you have to get up super early to see them, though occasionally a more brazen yearling will be seen prancing about. They love to lick the salt from the roads in the winter!

Wow insane chelsea!

wow.. it sounds like you really do have a lot of moose in canada, jane! how fun!

Awesome. When I was in Tromso, my aunt stopped to let me catch a photo of reindeer on the side of the road. They are all over the place apparently so my cousin thought I was crazy for wanting to snap a picture.

Oh, that's pretty awesome!

oh my goodness. when i was in first grade i wrote a picture book about moose. so jealous of your encounter!

moose are our favorites! we see many in maine every summer. he is beautiful!

How lucky you are!

You could look up the Shamanic Animal cards to find out the meaning of when the spirit animal "Moose" comes to you.

Oh I love looking at a moose too. Thank you so much for posting its photo. It is very beautiful.

yay! i love it. moose are so beautiful and exotic in a really northern way. i want to see one. . . .

Aren't they stunning? At our farm in the middle of the forrest you can sometimes see them every now and then, but they're pretty elusive, so you're lucky!

hilarious! I had a moose spotting when I was in Maine over the summer. they're so cute!

Aw, so cute! Those are some amazing antlers.

One of my life goals is to see a moose in the wild! Very cool...

That was so memorable to see the moose trot down the road with its long legs like it was on the way to catch a bus.
