guest blogger elisabeth: la cabane perchee
The perfectly named La Cabane Perchee is a French architectural firm devoted exclusively to the creation of treehouses. I can't think of a cooler job. They say: "Each is unique, in the spirit of its owner and of the tree it is nested in". One more reason to move to France!
Update: they won't break a single branch or drive a single nail into the tree during construction. Even better.
Just last week Chelsea wanted to live in a treehouse!

I love treehouses! I had one growing up, but one weekend came home from college to find that my dad had torn it down! I was happy to find out, though, that he used the wood to build a bridge for guests at my wedding reception.

And now I really want to live in one too!
Laura - What a cool story about your tree house.

I love these. My dream studio is a beautiful house in the trees looking out over the valley.
