Great idea to use them as gift tags. I lived in DC for a few months (I'm a travel nurse) and saw a great exhibit at the National Gallery about the Art of the American Snapshot.

And another at the Corcoran by Annie Leibowitz which included so many candid shots of her family. Makes you appreciate the beauty of everyday life.
