local artist: tsilli
I am a sucker for any sort of art involving paper and sewing stitches. When I met Tsilli at the Design* Sponge event on Tuesday (was great, btw) and she mentioned that this was one of her techniques, I knew I had to see her work. A graphic designer by profession, Tsilli also has a business called New Ketubah where she makes contemporary versions of Jewish wedding contracts. She delves into silkscreening, photography (including Holgas and Polaroids), and all sorts of other crafts. Click here to be inspired! {pictured above are cards that Tsilli has made for her family and friends, aren't they charming?}

I missed you last night! wasn't surprising with all of the people there, wow what a crowd!
I too thought the meeting was informative. :)

These are amazing! I will have to share them with a friend who is getting married this summer.
I can always count on you for lovely new things...
